Hello! We are Locust Street Crafts and this is our blog where we will keep you posted about what we're making and selling, where you can find us, and all of our crafty adventures!

Locust Street Crafts came about because of this house in Mount Pleasant, MI:

In the fall of 2007, three friends and coworkers, Erica, Liz, and Samantha, moved in to a grey house on Locust Street in Mount Pleasant, MI. There was much crocheting, knitting, singing, laughing, marathons of America's Next Top Model, a minor fire, some broken hearts, a power outage, a gas leak and a lot of crafting. Out of all of that came an abiding desire to craft together and sell what we make.

For the last couple of years, we've been hawking our wares at craft sales around mid-Michigan. Our initial booth set up was something like this:

We have come a long way and aren't out of idea yet! This week we'll each be writing a post to introduce ourselves in more detail. After that, we'll use this as a space to share our updates and exciting news. We hope you'll continue to check in with us to see what's new both here and at craft sales!
